Don’t fall for this Scam

This is a recent article out of USC:

I have a hard time convincing people how useless college has become. When I tell them it’s a scam, that I’ve had to UNlearn my college education, and that I’ve learned more by dropping out and studying the world independently — they believe I’m an outlier. They argue that for the majority of people, college is good. Or they say college is useful if you’re a STEM major!

The larger problem there is that STEM doesn’t even make up 20% of college bachelor degrees. So what the hell are the other 80% of students going for?

The above headline is a window into what the university system has become: an extension of the nanny state.

Imagine the pressure on teachers when pronouncing a word wrong is enough to get them fired. The obvious result is that college becomes a system where students are taught what they want the truth to be, and not what the truth really is.

It’s clear to me that college has become a propaganda machine that’s sold its morals to the highest bidder. Go to college if you want to become a puppet, not if you want to learn how to be a critically thinking adult.

This crazy story continues here.
